Following his departure from Scottish side Peterhead Football Club, Enock Walusimbi has joined Uganda Premier League side URA FC.
The versatile defender has joined the Tax Collectors on a two-year employment contract, as a free agent.
Walusimbi is a former Uganda Premier League winner with Express FC in the 2020/21 campaign.
That triumph was before the regional success, where Express won the CECAFA Kagame Cup in 2021 in Dar es Salaam.
After the triumphs with the Red Eagles, Walusimbi netted a deal to Scottish lower division side Peterhead where he spent a season, despite signing for three years.
He only managed six appearances there before his contract got terminated.
Besides Express on the local scene, Walusimbi has also previously featured for Soltilo Bright Stars Football Club.
Walusimbi also previously captained Uganda (U23) KOBS in 2021 and made his debut for Uganda Cranes on 29th August 2021 in the 2-1 defeat against Ethiopia and has since made 9 appearances.
