Vipers SC will continue their pursuit for the FUFA Super 8 tournament trophy, in their semifinal battle against a rare opponent, in the Uganda Cranes Select Team.
The two will tussle it down at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Sunday, in what promises a mouthwatering showdown.
To make the semifinals, the Venoms ejected NEC FC in the preceding round, courtesy of a 1-1 aggregate, with a superior away goals advantage.
Skipper Milton Karisa scored in the second leg against the Bugolobi side in Lugogo, to guarantee passage to this round.
Meanwhile, the Uganda Cranes Select Team got the better of 2023/24 Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa to reach the semifinals.
While we reached the Last Four, Vipers players are fully aware there's still room for improvement, given the meager goal-scoring opportunities created in the previous matches.
