Gaddafi Football Club has unveiled Nile International Hospital as their new shirt sponsor in a multi-million deal ahead of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

The hospital first entered a shs.60 million sponsorship a season with Gaddafi at the beginning of the 2020/21 season before extending it for another year last season.

The undisclosed partnership will cover the 2023/24 season with an option of extension in the future.

"We've had a good mutual partnership with Gaddafi FC in the past two seasons, and that's the reason we decided to improve our partnership with them to something bigger," Nile International Hospital's representative said before signing the renewal.

"We do hope this good partnership that has yielded positives will reflect on the pitch this season

"We've expanded our relationship with Nile International Hospital from medical partners to a shirt sponsor as we aim to grow bigger," he added.

Expectations

Gaddafi president Lt. Edrine Ochieng said the sponsorship was timely to the team ahead of their season that starts on Sunday 17th, September.

The club also unveiled their new jersey, their new technical bench led by coach David Mutono and his playing unit.

"We've made some quality additions to the team from the technical to the playing unit, which we believe will do a quality job as we return to our Gaddafi Arena officially," Ochieng believes.

Former Police FC chief executive officer Fahad Lumu has assumed the same role for the Soldier Boys.
