With the point, Gaddafi moved a place up, from 14th to 13th on the 16-team log, having accumulated 19 points in 23 games.

It was an evenly poised Uganda Premier League battle between relegation hopefuls Gaddafi FC and UPDF FC at the Bombo Military Grounds, on Tuesday.

The two army sides played out a massively contested one-all draw at the latter's grounds.

Baker Buyala netted Gaddafi's goal in the first-half, before defender Bright Joseph Vuni levelled matters for UPDF.

With the point, Gaddafi moved a place up, from 14th to 13th on the 16-team log, having accumulated 19 points in 23 games.

They will continue their fight for survival with a home bout against title challengers SC Villa on April 25.

Meanwhile, UPDF are still stuck in 15th on 17 points in 23 matches,  with relegation looming.

In their subsequent match, they will visit Mbarara City FC at the Kakyeka Stadium on April 26.
