Usain Bolt is banking on Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer to make the future of the Premier League interesting, highlighting that they are history makers.

Jamaican legendary sprinter Usain Bolt has tipped football youngsters Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer to dominate the world of football in the coming years.

Usain Bolt was speaking at the GQ's Men of the Year party and he was honoured to have a conversation with the duo. The eight-time Olympic champion revealed that history is written all over them.

Their rise to the top has been something to admire and at such a young age, they have managed to cement themselves as distinguished footballers.

“I have the honour talking about these two wonderful young men, great talent, two lads born in Greater Manchester. Both nominated for Premier League Young Player of the Season. One of them won it, the other scored the winning goal in the FA Cup,” Usain Bolt said in an interview with GQ.

“How many reach the final of a major tournament? What they [have already achieved] in their career is incredible. What they are going to achieve is spectacular,” he added.

Just recently, Cole Palmer became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match. Overall, he has been instrumental at Chelsea and dozens of football fans now just refer to him as 'Cold Palmer.'

On his part, Kobbie Mainoo was very effective for Manchester United last season summing up his season by scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

An injury that he picked up in Manchester United’s match against Aston Villa has slowed him down but he might be ready to play when the Red Devils line up against Ipswich on Sunday, November 24.

The two youngsters certainly have a bright future ahead of them, something that even legendary track star Usain Bolt can see. Indeed, game recognises game!
