The teenage star scored what was, by his admission, one of the best goals of the entire 2023, and has now been nominated for the prestigious Goal of the Month award alongside other top strikes from the Premier League in November.
Garnacho’s goal appears to be the favourite to scoop the award, but the youngster certainly has competition with some incredible goals in November.
Garnacho battles Kudus, Olise for top honours
The Manchester United youngster will be up against the likes of West Ham’s Mohamed Kudus, Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling, Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, Sheffield United’s Cameron Archer, and Wolves’ Pablo Sarabia.
Kudus’ acrobatic effort against Brentford earned him a shot at the award, while Sterling’s freekick against Newcastle is also in contention for the goal of the month for November.
Archer’s powerful strike against Wolves was also nominated, while Sarabia’s brilliant touch and volley against Tottenham also got a nod.
Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko also received a nomination for his goal against Brentford and Brighton’s Simon Adingra was recognised for his marvellous solo run against Sheffield United.
