The Tusker legend has been successful in his over 20-year coaching experience.
Gaspo Women FC new coach Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee has explained his decision to join the Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League side.
Mulee was named the new Gaspo head coach on Tuesday, succeeding coach Ibrahim Mohammed, who left the side in February.
Some in the football fraternity questioned the former Harambee Star mentor's decision as he is regarded as one of the best coaches in men's football and could have taken a role at any top-flight club across the continent.
However, Mulee says his main objective is to raise the game's standards at the club that aims to lift the title and represent the country in next season's CAF Women's Champions League.
"I liked the way they play the game. And I am here to help raise the level of the team. With my experience, my joy is just to make a positive impact on this team," the coach said.
Mulee believes that many of the FKFWPL sides have equal strengths based on the current standings of this season.
"The league is very competitive. Vihiga Queens have been champions for a while, there are other good teams, such as Zetech Sparks and Ulinzi Starlets; we are currently top but I still believe the team can go to a higher level, and if we do that, we will get our reward," he added.
