According to a communique from FIFA, the club has been banned from signing any players after failing to pay Burundian Gael Bigirimana’s sign-on fees.
FIFA had earlier given the Tanzania Premier League champions an ultimatum of 45 days, but they failed to comply within the required timeframe.

“Tanzania Premier League club Young Africans has been blocked from signing any player until they pay Gael Bigirimana,” the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) passed FIFA’s message to the club.
The TFF also reminded the club that they would neither be allowed to sign any local player during the ban.
The club boosted their squad with a number of players during the transfer window, including Ugandan defender Gift Fred, who crossed over from SC Villa.
