Strasbourg extended their lead through Emanuel Emegha, but Lyon fought back. Alexandre Lacazette's rebound was tapped in by Ainsley Maitland-Niles to make it 2-3. Orban's equalizer was initially ruled out for offside, but VAR awarded the goal.
Lyon took the lead when Malick Fofana's cross found Orban, who powered the ball home.
Strasbourg couldn't find an equalizer, suffering their ninth away defeat in 10 matches. Lyon celebrated their eighth competitive win in 12 games.
