The Mail Men forced Jonathan McKinstry’s men to a share of spoils at Nyayo Stadium much to the delight of the former Kariobangi Sharks player.
Posta Rangers midfielder Calvin Odongo is pleased with his team’s 2-2 draw against Gor Mahia in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match played on Sunday.
Odongo brought the mailmen back into the game in the 62nd minute before K’Ogalo goalkeeper Gad Mathews deflected the ball into his net at the stroke of normal time for the equalizer.
Although the former Kariobangi Sharks man acknowledged that the tie was tricky, he is delighted to help the Mailmen avoid defeat at Nyayo Stadium.
“ I feel great for helping my team to come from two goals down, and we have settled for a draw and thus a positive for the rest of the team and me.

FKFPL Omalla inches closer to history with brace as Gor throw away two-goal lead to draw with Posta Rangers
The striker continued with his terrific form with two goals in the first half but K’Ogalo could not hold onto their advantage
In the opening minutes of the match, we were under pressure which led to us conceding the two goals, but as the match proceeded, we were able to settle on the match,” he said.
Gor Mahia scored in the fourth minute of the match courtesy of Benson Omalla, who added his second in the 24th of the match, and Odongo pointed out what led to their disappointing start.
“When we came to the match, we respected them for being on top of the table, and that is what I think affected us, but I would like to thank the rest of the team for enduring that pressure, and we came out ‘victorious,’” he added.
The result also saw Posta Rangers remain ninth on the log, with 39 points from 25 games played this season.
