The shock result against Villarreal leaves the defending La Liga champions 10 points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Xavi has been under pressure for several weeks with the Blaugrana struggling to replicate their excellent league performance of last season.
In his statement, Xavi said "I have decided I will not continue beyond June 30. I took this decision days ago, I already knew but now it is time to make it public.
"I believe this is the right time, I don't make decisions thinking about money. I just follow my heart"
Xavi, 44, was appointed manager in November 2021, succeeding Ronald Koeman, and guided the Blaugrana to the league title in his first full season.
