The AFCON u20 star replaces Peter Lwasa, who left following the expiry of his contract.
Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ugandan attacker Rogers Mugisha from UPL side Uganda People's Defence Forces FC.
The skilful attacker was part of the Uganda U-20 team that finished at the 2023 U20 AFCON in Egypt. He replaces compatriot Peter Lwasa, who left Gor following the expiry of his contract.
Mugisha made the tournament’s group stage team of the tournament, being named man-of the match in their 2-1 win over the Central African Republic in February.

FKFPL: Eric Kapaito reveals how Ethiopian experience will help him lead Tusker to glory
Kapaito played for Ethiopian Premier League side Arba Minch after leaving Kariobangi Sharks last season.
Mugisha started in all four of Uganda’s games at the tournament, where they were eliminated by the Nigeria u20s 1-0.
His performances earned him a call up to the Uganda Cranes senior side for their AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania in March, but he failed to make an appearance off the bench.
Mugisha has previously spoken about a desire to represent Uganda at the World Cup. Joining Gor under the stewardship of John McKinstry, who has developed a knack for developing players, will help him in his quest to achieve that dream.
