FOOTBALL Ambani calls for prioritizing referee payments over delegates' suits at FKF AGM
Former Kenya international Boniface Ambani has criticized FKF for spending on 'suits' instead of paying referees' six-month wage arrears ahead of AGM.
Bayisenge, a stalwart in the Gor Mahia lineup, was substituted at half-time in the match against Denmak due to a quad muscle injury, an issue that also saw him sidelined for the clash with Posta Rangers.
"Emery tweaked his quad muscle in the game in Ukunda against Denmak in the Cup. That's just one that's going to take a couple of weeks," McKinstry elucidated.
The squad's depth will be further tested with the absence of John Macharia and Patrick Kaddu. Macharia has been battling illness, which has impeded his ability to train and play.
"Macharia has had a bit of illness this week...he hasn't really recovered. He's on medication so unfortunately he's not able to train or play at the moment because of that," the coach revealed.

FOOTBALL AFC Leopards provide update on Ksh20M payment to former coach Patrick Aussems after deadline elapsed
AFC Leopards have explained the status of the over Ksh20m owed to former coach Patrick Aussems that landed the club in problems before the start of this season.
On the other hand, Kaddu is in the latter stages of rehabilitation from a long-term hamstring injury, working diligently towards making a return to full fitness.
Despite these setbacks, McKinstry remains optimistic about his team's prospects against Bandari. He highlighted the depth of the squad as a crucial factor that could help navigate through the absence of key players.
"We've got good depth in the squad. Those guys aren't available for us, but, you know, we're happy with the guys who will travel over to Mombasa," he stated confidently.
