Here are the goal-scoring charts after match Match Day 26 of the FKFPL.
The Sirkal Derby between Gor Mahia and Kenya Police FC dominated Match Day 26 but collective feuds aside, an individual duel for the Golden Boot between the league’s two leading scorers Benson Omala and Elvis Rupia was on the cards as well.
Rupia was unable to close the gap on Omala, as both strikers were unable to find the back of the net for their respective clubs.

Midfielder Austin Odhiambo scored the only goal of the game to give K’Ogalo a 1-0 win. Omala remains the cream at the top, as he currently enjoys a considerable lead at the summit of the charts with 23 goals in 26 matches.
Rupia has now only scored one goal in four matches, which is not a good sign for him individually, as Police head coach, Francis Baraza has recently turned to new signing, Derrick Otanga to push him. The former Ingwe forward remains second in the goal-scoring charts with 17 goals.

In Bungoma, the current third top scorer, Joseph Mwangi was unable to add to his 12 goals for the season although his side, Nzoia Sugar FC beat title-rivals Tusker 1-0 courtesy of a penalty expertly converted by James Kibande.
Kennedy Owino of KCB was also kept quiet as he remains on 10 goals for the season as his side came from behind to draw 2-2 with AFC Leopards at the Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.
