Gor Mahia FC unveils thrilling procession route for their new bus, leading to a grand reveal event at MISC Kasarani

FKF-Premier League reigning champions Gor Mahia FC are set to make headlines this Saturday as they unveil their brand-new team bus in a grand procession that promises to be a memorable spectacle.

The highly-anticipated event will take place at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani and will be graced by the presence of Information Communications, and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary, Eliud Owalo.

Ahead of this momentous occasion, Gor Mahia FC will engage in a high-octane clash with rivals Murang’a SEAL, who have enjoyed a flying start to their top-flight journey following their promotion from the National Super League last season.

One of the highlights of the day will be a procession of hundreds of passionate K’Ogalo supporters who will embark on a journey to pick up their beloved team's new bus at General Motors East Africa Isuzu, located along Mombasa Road.

The celebratory convoy will then follow a route that traverses Lunga Lunga Road, Jogoo Road, City Stadium Roundabout, Country Bus, and finally, Tom Mboya Statue, where enthusiastic fans and players will be eagerly awaiting the grand reveal.

The procession will continue with an exciting route through Globe Roundabout and Thika Road, ultimately culminating at Kasarani, the site of the official bus reveal.

Information, Communication, and Technology Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, along with a host of other dignitaries, will be on hand to present K'Ogalo players and fans with their new bus, which comes with a price tag of Sh23 million.

In addition to the thrilling bus reveal, the event promises to be a day filled with entertainment and delectable lunch options at the match venue, ensuring that fans are treated to an unforgettable experience before the Murang'a SEAL duel.

Notably, this event will also mark the unveiling of Gor Mahia's jerseys for the upcoming season, fresh from their shipment from Italy.

Gor Mahia Chairman, Ambrose Rachier, expressed his gratitude to Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo for delivering on a pledge made earlier in the year.

“It is an Isuzu bus, body built by master body builders. It is 42-seater bus, originally it was 62-seater but for comfort of long-distance travel, we have cut off 20 so that there are only 42 with five first and business class seats just behind by the driver.

It is donated by Eliud Owalo Foundation. It is custom and fully paid for. The bus has already been registered by NTSA under KDN 068. As you know, 68 is significant for Gor Mahia as it is the year it was founded, Rachier said.
