The Citizens are six points below Arsenal but have a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola has stressed that Manchester City have to win their game in hand in order to keep pace with Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
Their game in hand is against Brighton – who are chasing a European ticket – but the date of the fixture is yet to be confirmed.
"The reality is we are six points behind," Guardiola said. "There is no guarantee that we will win the game in hand against the best team [Brighton] in the world to make the build-up.
"There is no team better in the process to bring the ball from the keeper to the last quarter. There is no better team in modern football right now.

The Gunners are not involved in any other competition but the Cityzens still have Champions League and FA Cup assignments.
"Then we have Arsenal at home. There is no guarantee. To be close, we need to win our games.
"When the games are tied, we will see the reality. Tomorrow we have to sleep with three points behind."
On Saturday, the Citizens will face Leicester City at the Etihad and with a victory may move within three points of league leaders Arsenal.

At times, the former Everton center-back is allowed to perform unique duties.
"Everyone knows if we'd lost those games we would not win the title. It's the same tomorrow [Saturday]. If we lose the game we will not be champions.
"If we win we would still be there, but we cannot forget we are six points behind Arsenal, a team that have dropped few points throughout the season and plays one game a week."
City are looking to extend their winning streak to 10 matches in all competitions. They have not reported any new injury cases, although midfielder Phil Foden, who underwent an appendix surgery in March, is not available.
