Kevin De Bruyne has credited Manchester City's dressing room dynamic and lack of egos as a crucial factor in the club's relentless success on the pitch.

While acknowledging Pep Guardiola's managerial expertise, De Bruyne emphasises the importance of the players' attitude and ego-free mentality.
"In my 10 years here, I've seen many exceptional players, but surprisingly few egos," De Bruyne shared on the Man City podcast.
"Everyone recognizes the value of their teammates, and that's key. I believe that if I'm out for three weeks and the player replacing me performs well, they deserve their spot."
De Bruyne highlights the importance of humility and self-awareness, saying,
"I need to handle myself correctly towards my teammates and conduct myself appropriately on and off the pitch. It makes life much easier."
He also acknowledges that disagreements arise but notes that they never spill outside the team, saying,
"Sometimes there are bust-ups, but there have to be arguments or fights – it's only natural. However, it never goes outside, and I love that about our team."
Manchester City have started the season with 3 wins from their opening 3 games and will hope to continue that trend when they welcome Brentford to the Etihad this weekend.
