Stanley Nwabili was superb when called upon to make saves on several occasions in the game.
The goalkeeper was composed and confident on the ball and coordinated the Super Eagles' defence line.

Ola Aina was a terror on the left-hand side of the Guinea Bissau defence making sure that there was enough threat from that wing.
The defender was involved in the Super Eagles' opening goal, placing a header towards the path of Moses Simon.
Kenneth Omeruo - 7
Kenneth Omeruo was brought in to replace Troost Ekong who got injured during the win against Ivory Coast
The defender produced a solid performance, ensuring the defence was compact enough to withstand the opponent's attack.
Semi Ajayi - 5
Semi Ajayi was not at his best in the game and was nervous at the back, making several errors.
However, his partner was solid enough to cover up for him and made sure that the defence stayed solid.
Cavin Bassey - 6
Bassey played his second game of the AFCON tournament and his partnership with Omeruo was superb.

Osayi Samuel - 7
Osayi Samuel started his first AFCON game for Nigeria and did not disappoint, having a decent performance as a wing-back.
His contribution to the attack on the right hand played a major role in the quality of chances created by the Super Eagles.
Frank Onyeka - 7
Frank Onyeka has been one of the best players for the Super Eagles since the start of the AFCON tournament.
The midfielder was a rock for the Super Eagles, sheltering their four-man defence and ensuring victory.
Joe Aribo- 6
Joe Aribo had an average performance against Guinea Bissau, despite the Super Eagles' victory.
The midfielder did not produce much of a spectacular performance but also did the necessary things needed in the game.

Moses Simon had a decent game against Guinea Bissau and his connection with Aina was a terror to the opponent's defence.
