Vihiga Queens, the team Kathuruh represents, shared the sorrowful announcement expressing their condolences and solidarity with their goalkeeper during this challenging time.
"It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing on of Rose Kyambi Kathuruh, which occurred on 12th May 2024," Vihiga Queens stated in a released statement.
"Rose is the mother to our goalkeeper Pauline Muthakye Kathuruh. As we mourn Rose's passing, let us keep Pauline's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. Funeral arrangements will be communicated at a later date. May our mum's soul rest in eternal peace," the statement continued.
