Omurwa failed to feature in Estrela's loss to Liverpool-linked Ruben Amorim's Sporting Lisbon on Friday night.
Harambee Stars defender Johnstone Omurwa was left out of the Estrela Amadora side for the seventh league game in a row as they fell short 2-1 to Sporting Lisbon, whose manager Ruben Amorim has heavily been linked with the Liverpool job.
Omurwa, who has played in 15 league games this season, played in back to back matches for Kenya against Malawi and Zimbabwe in the just concluded international window, and completed 90 minutes in both matches.
He is back to full fitness, but may have been rested after traveling back to Portugal on Wednesday with the game taking place on Friday.
