Harambee Stars duo of Amos Nondi and Alwyn Luheni Tera helped inspire Ararat Armenia get off to a winning start in their first competitive game of 2024, beating Pyunik 3-1 on Friday.
Tera featured for 82 minutes, during which he registered two key passes from deep, and also made two attempts at goal to cap off a good weekend for the Armenian giants.
Nondi came of the bench in the 81st minute and was on the pitch for 18 minutes, but did not really have enough time to influence the outcome of the match.

Tenton Yenne scored the first goal for Ararat, before Mohammed Yatara made it two for the hosts just before the break.
Pyunik pulled one back in the 71st minute through Yusuf Otubanjo, but Yenne scored his second and Ararat’s third of the evening to give them all the three points.
Tera, who made his debut appearance for Kenya against Uganda in 2021, has made 18 appearances for Ararat this season, starting 12 times and scoring two goals.
He has also recorded one assist and has averaged a passing accuracy of 84 percent.
