The foreign-based star intends to complete construction of a stadium and luxurious hotel in the country by 2025 as he plans his life after football
Harambee Stars winger Ayub Timbe is working on an ambitious project that will see him build a stadium and a hotel in the country if all goes well by 2025.
In what is a grand plan that would require a huge financial outlay, Timbe has showed an artist’s impression of the project christened ‘Vision 2025.’
“Development project in Kenya. Soccer stadium and a luxury hotel. Vision 2025,” the player posted on social media.

Details of the location of the stadium and hotel have not been revealed as well as its capacity but Timbe seems to be dreaming big as plans his life after football.
Building both stadium and hotel would require a lot of resources running into hundreds of millions, if not billions, depending on the size.
It is not known how he plans to finance the project but it is a good and ambitious move for Timbe who currently plays for Nanjing City FC in China’s second tier.
For now, the player is focused on his career with Nanjing preparing for Saturday’s China League One match against Jiuniu, seeking to bounce back to winning ways after failing to win their last two games.
This is the second stint in China for journeyman Timbe who also featured for Beijing Rehne between 2017 and 2020. He has also played in Greece, Belgium, Japan and Thailand and had a brief loan spell with English Championship side Reading in 2020.
Timbe has earned 24 caps for Kenya, scoring four goals, with his last appearance coming a substitute in the thrilling 2-2 draw with Russia this month.
