The experienced Kenyan goalkeeper is set to be the seventh signing for the highly-ambitious Premier Soccer League club.
Harambee Stars goalkeeper Ian Otieno arrived in South Africa at the weekend to finalise his transfer to Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Richards Bay.

Harambee Stars boss Engin Firat reveals his biggest worry ahead of Burundi, Ivory Coast escapade
Firat has revealed his biggest worry as Kenya prepares to face Burundi and Ivory Coast.
Otieno will, however, have to fight for a starting place in goal as dislodging the club’s no1 Saalim Magoola will not be easy.
Magoola is highly-rated in South Africa and is now Uganda’s first-choice goalkeeper after replacing veteran Dennis Onyango, meaning Otieno has his work cut.
Richards Bay also have two other goalkeepers in Malcom Jacobs and Philasande Manqele on their books and it is still not known if one of them will be released following the Kenyan international’s arrival.
