Scriven has been recognised for his stellar performances which have played a big part in helping a struggling IL Hodd fight bravely against relegation from the Norwegian first division.
Just over a week since Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje won the Finnish league’s Young Player of the Season award, Alfred Scriven has managed to win FC Hodd’s Player of the Season after a stellar campaign for the Norwegian outfit.
Scriven, who made his international debut for Kenya against Iran back in March, has scored eight goals in 27 league appearances for Hodd and has been an incredibly bright spark for the side, who have battled hard against relegation but still find themselves in the playoff place with one game to go.
They currently sit 14th on 32 points, two behind Asane on 34 points, and will have to win their game against Ranheim TF at all costs while hoping that Asane fluff their lines against Sanders Ulf to secure automatic survival.
