Kenya vs Ivory Coast: Raila Odinga hails Harambee Stars' heroic draw against African champions in Lilongwe
Shock was evident as Raila Odinga congratulated Harambee Stars for holding Ivory Coast to a goalless draw in World Cup qualifier.
The talented striker, currently with Saudi Arabian Division One side Al Jabalain, has been out of action due to a challenging recovery process from a severe Achilles tendon injury sustained at the end of January while playing for his club.
This injury has not only sidelined him for several weeks but also required surgery, causing him to miss significant fixtures including the four-nation tournament in Malawi where Kenya emerged victorious, and a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Botswana which ended in a 1-1 draw.
