Following Uganda Cranes' humiliation by Zambia in a 3-0 defeat, youngster Ibrahim 'Baba' Kasule has expressed optimism that the team will bounce back for better results.

It was the second successive defeat in less than a week, having been beaten 1-0 in the other by Mali in Bamako.

"Time always defines everything; hard times never last," Kasule said via his official social media handles.

"They (there) will be an impact because we shall never stop pushing for the best, see you again, Uganda."

Meanwhile, Kasule didn't feature against Zambia as he stayed on the bench, with interim head coach Morley Byekwaso opting for other options.

However, he featured off the bench against Mali but still needs to stamp a grip on a starting position in the Cranes ranks.

This is despite his impressive form with his American club, New York Red Bulls 2, in the MLS Next Pro, where he has scored 17 goals and made six assists in 26 appearances.

It should be noted that Uganda's next games will be World Cup qualifiers against Guinea and Somalia on November 13 and 20, respectively.
