A football pundit believes Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel would be worse off without Harry Kane this season.
Former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has leapt to the defence of Harry Kane following criticism of the Bayern Munich striker's performances in the Champions League this season.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Kane and his new club have underwhelmed this season and are in danger of crashing out of the Champions League.

Kane and Bayern Munich
Kane has come under fire from some quarters despite scoring an incredible start to life with the Bavarians.
The former Tottenham striker has scored four goals in seven Champions League appearances so far. However, despite his goals, Bayern are struggling to make a good impression in the round of 16 and the England captain's contributions have been questioned.
But Lambert insists Kane is being unfairly targeted and scapegoated.
"He gets abused because he doesn’t have an ‘I’ at the end of his name, he is as prolific as the day is long,” he said per Bavaria Football Works.
“Some of his goals have been absolutely terrific as well.”
The ex-Scotland international believes Kane is performing admirably given Bayern's struggles across all competition this campaign under Thomas Tuchel, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
"It is not Harry Kane’s fault that Bayern are second in the Bundesliga right now," Lambert added, referencing Bayern Munich's surprise position in the German league.
"Without him scoring their goals, they could be far worse."
Lambert remains a staunch advocate of Kane's undeniable quality and goal-scoring pedigree. He maintains the criticism aimed at Kane is unjustified and that the striker cannot be blamed for Tuchel and his men’s underwhelming Champions League form.
Kane played from start to finish as Lazio defeated Bayern 1-0 in the first leg of their UCL round of 16 clash last week and also scored in the shock defeat at Bochum in the Bundesliga.
He will aim to continue proving his doubters wrong when the Serie A side will travel to Germany for the second leg early next year as the Bavarians look to right the wrongs of the first leg at home.
