Brazil legend replies Maduka Okoye
Dida, who won the UEFA Champions League with AC Milan, has now offered words of encouragement and advice to Okoye.
"He is a goalkeeper who can do a lot in this championship," Dida said.
"One thing I told him is that this is a tough championship, it's not easy. There are many things off the pitch that you have to manage.
"He must have the ability to keep his mind only for his job and for what he is capable of doing.
"He must keep working as the work certainly pays off, he is a goalkeeper that I like a lot, who can do a lot in this championship here.”
With Dida's blessing, Okoye will aim to lead Udinese to a top-four finish and challenge Stanley Nwabali for the Super Eagles' number-one spot.
