Karen heaps praise on Silva
Karen has commended Marco Silva for playing a crucial part in bringing Alex Iwobi's performance back to life at Fulham.
Speaking after the game, via Premier League Productions, Karen said, "He has always been a worker, a grafter in the team, but it's that quality. I think tonight, playing in that more central role, he had that responsibility.
"He's matured now; he's 28; he's an experienced player under a manager that gets the best out of people. Marco is certainly getting the best out of Alex Iwobi there."
Carney highlighted the effect of Iwobi's shift to a more central midfield position, saying it had improved his performance considerably.
At the age of 28, Iwobi is developing into a seasoned player under Silva's tutelage, which Carney thinks is bringing out the best in the Nigerian midfielder.
Iwobi's performance has contributed to Fulham's form this season as they move up to sixth place in the Premier League standings.
