Musiala thrilled to have Michael Olise at Bayern Munich
"We used to play together at Chelsea Academy; it was nice," Musiala fondly recalled. "He's super talented. His skills are excellent."
Olise, who joins Bayern from Crystal Palace in a £45 million deal, plus £5 million in add-ons, scored 11 goals for Crystal Palace last season, something Musiala took notice of.
"He has scored many goals at Palace. So, I'm happy that he's joining Bayern, and I can't wait to play with him again."
Chelsea were keen on Olise but ultimately the player chose to go abroad with a chance to elevate his standing by playing for a bigger club and one in the UEFA Champions League.
There is no doubt Bayern and new manager Vincent Kompany have pulled off a great signing and next season should be an exciting one as they look to wrestle the league title back from Bayer Leverkusen.
