Mikel Obi has advised Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca on how best he can use Cole Palmer going forward in the season.
Cole Palmer has been a shining light since he joined the Blues last season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
However, he has struggled to get his season running as he struggled to perform in their first game of the season.
Chelsea lost their first Premier League game of the season to Manchester City 2-0 and Plamer was nowhere to be found in the match.

Mikel Obi on Palmer’s position
Chelsea legend Mikel has recommended Maresca to continue using Palmer as a creative midfielder, as he did in the previous campaign.
Mikel said on the Obi One podcast, “Cole Palmer should not be on the wide right, he should not be frozen out on the wings, that’s not where he’s best at.
“His best position is number 10, he should be in the middle of the pitch. Sometimes, in the game against Manchester City last week, I looked at him, and he was kind of lost.”
“He needs to be where the action is, he needs to be in the middle where he touches the ball a lot.
“Players like that need to feel the ball, they need to constantly touch the ball because if they don’t, they get fizzled out of the game. So he needs to come back and play in his favourite number 10 position.”
Palmer, who was Chelsea’s best player last season, found it difficult to generate much from the wings.
The next Premier League match for Chelsea is against Wolves, but it is yet to be seen if Maresca will yield to Mikel’s advice.
Meanwhile, Mikel Obi has claimed that no club has come close to Arsenal's Invincibles, despite Pep Guardiola's Manchester City winning the treble.
