Rooney says Bellingham could win Ballon d'Or
Impressed by Bellingham's consistency and composure on the big stage, Rooney now considers the 20-year-old midfielder as a leading contender for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
"If he keeps doing what he’s doing, then why not? Again, we’ve gone through that cycle of Messi and Ronaldo where they’ve dominated.
"I’m sure other players are fighting to try and win the Ballon d'Or, but Bellingham will be right up there,” Rooney told Sky Sports.
