Ahead of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, no fewer than 1,000 players stormed the U-17's camp in Abuja before training on Monday.
Nigeria is a five-time FIFA U17 World Cup champion, with her first win in China in 1985 and the second in Japan in 1993.
In 2007 Golden Eaglets won her third FIFA U17 World Cup in the Korean Republic, and the fourth and fifth gold medals came in the United Arab Emirates in 2013 and Chile in 2015, respectively.
48 players invited to camp, over 1000 players are in camp.
The head Coach Nduka Ugbade called 48 players to camp, including most of the players that won the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Cape Coast, Ghana, last year.
Contrary to this, no less than 1,000 players have stormed the U-17's camp in Abuja ahead of training on Monday, according to BSN.
Nigeria's Golden Eaglets picked up the Nations Cup ticket at the U17 West African Football Union (WAFU B), where they have crowned champions after defeating Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final.
The Golden Eaglets maintained an unbeaten run throughout the tournament in Ghana.
Algeria will host the U-17 African Championship from April 8th to April 30th, 2023.
Nigeria will join 11 other African teams to participate in the biennial competition, and the semifinalists will pick the ticket to represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru.
