Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere has heaped praise on forward Ryan Ogam, whose sensational form has propelled the Brewers to three consecutive league victories.

The most recent triumph came on Sunday when Tusker defeated Murang'a Seal 3-1 at the SportPesa Arena, with Ogam netting all three goals, including a stoppage-time strike to seal his hat-trick.

Speaking after the game, Okere lauded the team's hard work and attributed their success to divine guidance and discipline.

“First of all, I always say that God is the one fighting for us. Winning three matches in a row is something wonderful. The boys have done great things by following instructions to the letter. We thank God for the three points. Three goals for Ryan—we are very happy as a team. All glory to God because he was God-sent. We needed a player with a keen eye for goal, and that’s exactly what he’s doing," said Okere via Tata Sport.

Ogam’s hat trick on Sunday elevated him to the top of the league's scoring chart with 10 goals, putting him in prime contention for the Golden Boot award.

His clinical finishing has been instrumental in Tusker’s resurgence, with the team now sitting third in the league standings with 18 points from 10 matches.

Okere further emphasized the importance of hard work and consistency for the team’s continued success.

“Hard work pays, that’s the secret. Consistently winning is a great motivation for the team. I urge my boys to remember that it’s never enough until the final whistle.”

The Brewer trail league leaders KCB by just four points and has a game in hand, giving them a strong position in the title race.

With Ogam in red-hot form, the Okere's charges look poised to challenge for top honors as the season progresses.
