The game, along with the floodlights affair between KCCA FC and SC Villa, will act as test contests for the stadium as it seeks approval from continental football custodians, CAF.

Massively anticipated and awaited, reigning champions Vipers SC will battle BUL FC in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League showdown, with both sides having their eyes stuck on the table leadership.

Other than the usual FUFA Technical Center, Njeru where BUL hosts its games, the Wednesday tie will happen at the historical Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The game, along with the floodlights affair between KCCA FC and SC Villa, will act as test contests for the stadium as it seeks approval from continental football custodians, CAF.

Meanwhile, Vipers against BUL will see two sides tied on 46 points, contend for victory which will see them assume top-spot.

Current leaders Kitara FC drew 1-1 with Mbarara City FC on Tuesday, to leave them on 48 points at the summit.

Vipers will eye revenge against the Jinja-based outfit, who beat them 3-2 earlier in the season at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

Yunus Sentamu and Mohamed Salem netted the Venoms' consolations, with Nicholas Mwere, Lawrence Tezikya and Ibrahim Mugulusi scoring for BUL.

Away at the FUFA Technical Center last season, it ended in a 1-1 draw, with Karim Watambala’s late equalizer proving pivotal in our lead to the title.
