Portuguese ace Bruno Fernandes clinched the Player of the Month prize for April for Manchester United for a second successive month.
The 28-year-old collected 49% of the votes cast on the Club's official app, fending off opposition from defenders Victor Lindelof (41%) and Luke Shaw (10%).
Fernandes scored once and assisted twice in eight April matches, but his overall contribution was the most outstanding.
The assistant skipper was called on to operate in a more profound midfield role, away from his customary number 10, due to the absence of Casemiro early in the month over suspension.
And, despite the unnaturalness of his deployment, he excelled as he occasionally partnered with Fred, Cristian Eriksen, Scott Mctominay and Marcel Sabitzer.
Despite not scoring nor assisting in matches against Everton (2-0) and Nottingham Forest (2-0), Fernandes received superb 8.0 and 8.1 ratings, respectively, by Whoscored.com.
His performances against Aston Villa (1-0) and Tottenham (2-2), where he scored and assisted, respectively, were reminders of how dangerous he can get with the goal in sight.
Fernandes' stats have been hard-done by the un-prolificness of the Man United attackers, as he averages 1-8 big chances created per game.
Meanwhile, Lindelof also had a superb month. Still, his biggest highlight was netting the decisive penalty as United edged out Brighton in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.
Fernandes has now won two Player of the Month accolades this season for United. Only Marcus Rashford, who has three, has scooped more.
