But between Wednesday and Thursday, things changed, and Milton Karisa and Gaddafi Wahab moved to eight assists.

Going by Allan Okello’s dress code at the Pilsner SUPL Awards, he was ready to walk to the stage and collect an award.

He was in the category of players with the most assists, and before Thursday, the Uganda Premier League website indicated that he had the most assists.

That must have encouraged him to dress for the occasion in anticipation of his walk from the audience to the raised stage to pick his award.

But between Wednesday and Thursday, things changed, and Milton Karisa and Gaddafi Wahab moved to eight assists.

Karisa had been on five assists, while Wahab had six.

But that was a blunder by the UPL, according to League Manager Paul Kabaikaramu.

“We go with the facts. They had eight assists each. After the assists, we were considering the goals,” Kabaikaramu told Pulse Sports.

The Vipers captain scored nine goals, while Okello and Wahab had six and four, respectively.

“The query is, why wasn’t the website updated early? That I agree on our side.”

The awards ended with Milton Karisa scooping four accolades, including the biggest of the night as the UPL’s Player of the Season.
