Greenwood, who signed with Marseille for £26.6m, scored twice in a 5-1 win over Brest on Saturday.

De Zerbi backs Greenwood to keep scoring
De Zerbi expressed his happiness with Greenwood's performance, saying, "I am happy that he scored. It will calm the controversies that surrounded his arrival."
Despite being booed throughout the game, De Zerbi praised Greenwood, stating, "Mason Greenwood is a player different from the others, he has an extraordinary level."
Greenwood's move to Marseille follows a suspension from Manchester United in January 2022 due to allegations of attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault.
The charges were dropped in February last year, and he spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Getafe.
Greenwood started Marseille’s opening Ligue 1 match and scored twice in a 5-1 win at Brest.
De Zerbi told the Marseille website: “I am happy that he scored. It will calm the controversies that surrounded his arrival.”
The 22-year-old was booed throughout Saturday’s game in Brittany but the Italian said:
