Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has criticised Rodri for losing his head and receiving a red card in their victory over Nottingham Forest.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0, despite a red card to Rodri, to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The match in brief
The Manchester-based club extended its Premier League winning streak to six games this season with a magnificent seventh-minute strike by Phil Foden, who was set up by a marauding run by Kyle Walker.
Erling Halaand scored in double time, heading into an open goal off a Matheus Nunes assist—his first in Sky Blue.
City's dominance was threatened early in the second half, however, when a clash between Rodri and Gibbs-White prompted the Spain international to shove his neck. The referee issued a red card right away, and VAR confirmed his verdict. Forest pressed from there but failed to capitalise on their position, as City held on for the win.
What Guardiola said about Rodri
The Spanish manager was visibly dissatisfied with his star midfielder, saying he has to do better at keeping his emotions in check. Guardiola himself was carded in the game for touchline theatrics but said it is understandable if a manager loses control, as the jeopardy is not as severe.
"Hopefully, Rodri will learn. Rodri has to control himself and his emotions," Guardiola said post-match, per GOAL.
"This is what he has to do. I can get a yellow card, but Rodri cannot get a yellow card; I do not play. The guys inside [the pitch] have to be careful. I cannot control myself, but I do not play. Soon I will be in the stands because I will get enough yellow cards."
