He believes that a certain section of the fan base may be overly optimistic about their team's chances of winning the title, cautioning them against premature celebrations.
Ferdinand's Candid Thoughts on Arsenal's Title Aspirations
During an episode of Vibe With Five, Ferdinand shared his candid thoughts with Joel Beya, an Arsenal fan and host, about the ongoing title race. Despite his desire to see Arsenal succeed, Ferdinand admitted that the conduct of certain fans makes him rethink his support for the team.
“There are three teams playing now to win the league which is Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal – I actually want you boys to win it. But you and some of your fans make me not want you to win it.”
He acknowledged Arsenal as one of the contenders alongside Liverpool and Manchester City but emphasised the need for fans to temper their expectations and not get carried away with the current league position.
