‘They cannot be the same again’—Fans react as Sporting dismiss Amorim replacement within two weeks
The Portuguese champions have fired head coach Joao Pereira after just six weeks since replacing Ruben Amorim.
Despite playing with ten men, United struggled to create scoring opportunities as Wolves capitalised on a defensive lapse, with Matheus Cunha's corner deceiving goalkeeper Andre Onana and finding the back of the net.
Hwang Hee-chan compounded United's woes late on when the Red Devils poured forward in search of an equaliser. However, it was Wolves that got the last laugh as a swift counter saw Matheus Cunha pick out the South Korean international who finished with aplomb.
What Amorim said
"It's always the same reason it's going to be. We have to be the same professionals, the same guys, winning or losing. Losing, I have to be stronger. I will continue with my idea until the end," Amorim said via Reuters.

'I am always here to help Marcus as another player' - Amorim questions Rashford's entourage
Amorim proposed that the player's recent public comments may not fully reflect his own views.
He continued, "If he's not here, you can make your mind up. I think (Onana) cannot go to the ball. He's trying to reach the ball and some guys are not even looking at the ball but I don't want to focus on that.
"I think the good thing is we were near the goal, even with 10 men. That is a good thing, but we lost," he said.
