Guardiola hails Barcelona stars
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was impressed by Barcelona's display, praising their positional play and attacking style.
"I really liked them. The season is long, but I liked them.
"The positional play is extraordinary, the wingers play as wingers, the inside players get forward, the full-backs attack in space…" Guardiola said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
The Man City boss acknowledged that Barcelona posed significant challenges for his team, particularly in attack.
"We had problems, of course. Every time they came forward, they scored against us. It's normal, we're very young." City will look to build on this experience as they face Chelsea next at the Ohio Stadium.
Barcelona's new era under Hansi Flick has started on a positive note, with the team demonstrating a cohesive and dynamic style of play.
As the pre-season tour continues, Barcelona will aim to maintain this momentum and further develop their squad ahead of the new season.
