Barcelona vice-president Rafael Yuste has insisted that he would be delighted to have Lionel Messi back at the club this summer.
Lionel Messi is set to leave PSG this summer after choosing not to renew with the cub. The 35-year-old has been strongly linked with a return to LaLiga giants Barcelona and the noises have gotten louder in recent weeks.
Messi to Barcelona gathering pace
Rafael Yuste previously said in March that Barcelona were “in contact” with Messi over a potential return but has now told DAZN that he wants the Argentina international back in Catalonia.
“I want Leo (Messi) to come back,” Yuste said. “I want him to come back as the Cule that I am and for everything he has given to the club.
“He came from the youth academy and we have always had an extraordinary relationship. Nice stories have to end well. I’m still sad that he left, but I think that if everything goes well.
"Well, let’s see what Leo decides. But if he wanted to come back we would all be very happy.”

Messi has been in fine form for PSG this season, scoring 20 goals and contributing 19 assists in 38 appearances.
His return to Barcelona will surely send shockwaves across the footballing world and give the Blaugrana a chance to experience his greatness for at least one more season.
