Harry Kane's search for his first career trophy continues as he is set to face Spain in the European Championship final.

Spain's top scorer at the European Championship, Dani Olmo, said he is looking forward to denying Harry Kane another title.

Dani Olmo: A standout star

Olmo, 26, has been one of the stand-out stars in the competition, continuing the top-level performances he showed for Leipzig last season.

Spain's impressive performance in the competition has been bolstered by the emergence of Olmo as a key player. Initially, Pedri's understudy, Olmo, made his first start in the third group stage match, showcasing his skills.

However, when Pedri suffered an injury in the quarterfinal against Germany, Olmo seized the opportunity, making a significant impact. He went on to start the semifinal against France and is expected to retain his place in the final against England.

Despite starting only two games, Olmo has made a remarkable contribution, scoring three goals and assisting two others, demonstrating his clinical finishing and creative flair. His goals against Georgia, Germany, and France have been crucial to Spain's progress, making him a joint-top scorer in the competition.

What Olmo said about Kane

Kane left his boyhood club Tottenham for Bayern Munich in search of his first career trophy. Being German champions, Bayern's season opener was the DFL-Supercup, which they played against Leipzig.

Olmo was exceptional in that match, scoring a hat-trick, as Leipzig beat Bayern. The Spaniard effectively denied Kane his first taste of silverware, and with the Englishman's search still ongoing, Olmo is looking forward to doing it once again.

“Of course, it would be a dream to score a hat-trick in the final—and win it, of course," Olmo responded, per Goal. “It’s a team that never gives up, that’s for sure. We have to be focused all the game, and it doesn’t matter if we are down or up.”

Meanwhile, Olmo also said that Spain were not afraid of any individual English player, specifically Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham, who was named LALIGA MVP last season.
