My biggest disappointment with Nigeria - Former Super Eagles coach Rohr
Rohr was sacked by Nigeria two years ago, and now the head coach of Benin, he has steered his new team to a surprise win over his former employers during the World Cup qualifiers.
Rohr, who now manages Benin Republic oversaw his side defeat Nigeria 2-1 in their last World Cup qualifying match to damn the Super Eagles to a four-game winless run.
Speaking with Brila F.M on Saturday, Splitter emphasized the significance of Rohr's recent success with Benin over Nigeria, noting that he would be looking to take a leaf from his book.
The Belgian coach was quoted to have said via The Punch:
“I am very sure we (me and Gernot Rohr) will have a phone call before; it may be two or three, and if he can tell me something, I will be stupid not to take it."
Splitter further expressed confidence in their collaboration, stating, "For that, we will try to be in contact; if possible, we can help each other; for sure, we will do it."
