Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo has beaten former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo to the Saudi Pro League team of the 2022/2023 season.
Ighalo was included in the 11-man team, but there was no place for Ronaldo, who could not lead Al-Nassr to the league title after arriving from Manchester United last year.
Ighalo in but no Ronaldo in the SPL team of the season
Although Ronaldo did score 14 goals in 16 league appearances for Al-Nassr, it was not enough to earn him a spot in the team of the season.

Ighalo future remains uncertain
Surprisingly, the league’s top scorer Abderrazak Hamdallah was not included despite scoring two more goals than Ighalo.
