Two Nigerians were in action as Leicester City’s amazing start to the season was halted by Hull City who inflicted the Foxes first loss of the season.

Wilfred Ndidi teases Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest with stellar cameo for Leicester
Wilfred Ndidi's cameo in the EFL Cup against Tranmere Rovers is sure to have suitors Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest sitting up
Both players were taken off as the Foxes sought an equaliser, with Chelsea loanee Cesare Casadei replacing Ndidi after 53 minutes and club legend Jamie Vardy replacing Iheancho after 78 minutes to no avail.
Hull City claimed all three points thanks to a solitary goal from former Manchester City academy star Liam Delap, who is the son of former Stoke City and Premier League icon Rory Delap.
Leicester drop from top of Championship table
The loss is Leicester City’s first this season in all competitions, and first under new manager Enzo Maresca, who had led the Foxes to victories in their opening four games in the EFL Championship and two games in the EFL Cup before facing Hull.
The Foxes first loss of the season sees them lose ground to top-of-the-table Preston North End, who have also won four of their opening five Championship games, but unlike Leicester are yet to taste defeat.
Despite the loss, Leicester still look like they have a bright season ahead of them and will be glad to know that they can count on the services of Iheanacho and Ndidi, who remained with the club despite interest from other clubs in the transfer window.
