Uganda Crested Cranes forward Fazila Ikwaput has finished as the top scorer in the Indian Women's League.
Ikwaput joined Gokulam Kerala in the January transfer window but has been outstanding scoring 13 goals in nine matches taking home the golden boot.
Despite her brilliant performance since moving to India from Uganda Women Super League champions Kampala Queens, Gokulam could not clinch the championship.
Kerala settled for the second position with 29 points, two points behind eventual champions Odisha FC who finished with 31 points.
She netted a brace on her debut against Sports Odisha where her team were 8-0 victors.
Ikwaput fired blanks in her second game when they drew goalless with Kickstart before bagging her first hat trick against East Bengal in a 4-0 victory.
She did not score in the next two games as Gokulam defeated Sethu and HOPS but returned on the scoresheet with a brace in a 2-1 win over champions Odisha.
Ikwaput would then net a quadruple in a 5-0 thumping of Sports Odisha. She also scored once in the 2-0 and 5-1 victories over Kickstart and East Bengal, respectively.
