Details of Gundogan’s deal

Gundogan’s move to Barcelona came as a free transfer after his contract expired with Man City a few weeks ago.

The details of the deal as reported by Romano Fabrizio on Twitter are not stated in full detail.

According to Fabrizio, “Gundogan has a release clause of €400m release clause, a contract signed until June 2025 and an additional clause to extend until 2026.”

Despite Man City's efforts to keep the German and other interested parties away from Arsenal and Saudi Arabia's generous offers, the German chose to move to Barcelona.
