Ademola Lookman has stated that he is not interested in winning individual honours after finishing in fourteenth place in the Ballon d'Or rankings.
Atalanta defeated Napoli 3-0 at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and the Super Eagles player maintained his start-of-season form.
The winger scored two first-half goals to help Atalanta instil a painful defeat to Serie A leaders Napoli.
Atalanta now moves to second position on the league table with just three points behind Antonio Conte’s side.

Lookman speaks on individual award
The Super Eagles star has stated that he is more concerned with helping Atalanta succeed than with achieving personal glory.
Speaking to the match broadcaster DAZN via Alfredo Pedulla, Lookman said, "Great performance by the team and De Ketelaere, it wasn’t easy but we are proud of this result. We played very well against the top team.”
When asked how he felt about missing out on the Ballon d’Or, he said, "I’m not interested in individual awards, I have to keep working to help the team achieve results."
Lookman came in ahead of prominent Premier League stars including Cole Palmer, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka in the Ballon d'Or rankings.
The winger was named the 14th-best player in the world, following his performance last season for Atalanta.
As it stands, Lookman is also the favourite to win the CAF African Footballer of the Year award and displace last year's winner, Victor Osimhen.
